APPLICATION OF MTBE
The main task of MTBE additive is receiving high-octane environmentally friendly gasoline. Thanks to its properties (the high content of oxygen) it increases detonation properties and allows to save oil during the production of fuel.

For more effective result (maximum increase of octane number) during the production of gasoline, MTBE is added together with MMA. In the following diagram characteristics which manage to achieve by means of simultaneous addition of additives are visually shown.
